Aviation Discovery Day

Above the Clouds is thrilled to welcome teens from Apprentice Learning for a hands-on Aviation Discovery Day at Cape Cod Community College’s School of Aviation Maintenance. This immersive experience introduces students to aviation and aerospace careers through:

• Flight simulation and drone piloting
• STEM-based activities exploring weight and balance, Bernoulli’s Principle, and aircraft systems
• Guided tours of aviation maintenance labs and hangars
• Mentorship from professional pilots, technicians, and aviation educators

With support from our aviation partners, students will explore career paths as a pilot, in aviation maintenance, drone photography, and more. This full-day program includes lunch and plenty of opportunities to engage with industry professionals.
