Angel Flight Northeast, a nonprofit providing patients with free medical-related transportation, is proud to announce a partnership with Above the Clouds, a Norwood, MA-based youth aviation nonprofit. This collaboration will rapidly and conveniently enable existing Angel Flight Northeast volunteer pilots to provide flights for children facing adversity. Each organization provides free flights via volunteer pilots who donate time and fuel costs. “There is an obvious synergy between like-minded public benefit flying organizations and we look forward to using this example to foster similar collaborations across the country”, said Mark Hanson, VP of Air Care Alliance and volunteer pilot for both Angel Flight Northeast and Above the Clouds.
Pilots who fly for Angel Flight Northeast will automatically qualify to fly Above The Clouds missions, pending state mandated agency background checks.
